The ‘front room’ of Monkeytown is more conventionally designed, for table dining seating and also includes a bar. As is advertised by the venue: “Experimental cuisine and classic dishes from a country that doesn’t exist is served. Every cuisine and every ingredient is at play. The laboratory is open”. A commissioned permanent artist’s mural is presented on one wall; other areas are reserved to exhibit circulating local artist installations.
