Downtown Private Residence - New York, NY Design with The Moderns
Custom detailing using wood, stone, glass, plastics, bamboo flooring, glass tiles, textiles and smooth finishes governed the look and feel of this private home. Unique for a small project, the interior design extended to the detailing and fabrication of custom furniture pieces throughout.
Preserving an open line of communication between the design team, contractor and owner at all times for this fast-paced project was paramount to facilitate the needs of this time-and budget-sensitive project.
The design and construction process was relatively free-flowing. Flexibility and efficiency was built into the private project as design decisions were often implemented directly in the field and approved immediately.
