SF State University at Romberg Tiburon Center - Tiburon, CA
As part of a larger 36-acre Master Plan consideration, existing elements on site are designed to be visually and operationally connected via simple tensile structures for an economic solution. Research areas that are presently exposed to open-air, are designed to be covered to protect the specific chemistry involved in the scientific research and experiments from coastal dynamic weather conditions. A larger Development Plan by others was undertaken to identify physical changes needed to support the robust and growing programs for the Center at all of the existing buildings, intended for renovation.
