The addition to a symmetrical one-story early 1900s American Craftsman house is currently in design phases. The intent is to add a second floor for added useful square footage and simplify the first floor in a way that accommodates the client’s modern intents and request for open plan living. Living space views are framed towards two large beautiful trees, an old growth California oak and a towering palm and decks surrounding the house. Low-e glass and sustainable materials are to be used throughout.
