Park Slope Armory - Brooklyn, NY                     Design and Construction Administration with SWN Architects LLC


The case study historic buildings in Brooklyn and the Bronx totaled about 3,000,000 square feet.  Intimate collaborations with Bovis Lend Lease, who were awarded the construction contract, were required to reconstruct the projects to fine detail.  Since completion of the $45 million façade restorations, the Park Slope Armory underwent a $16 million renovation to dress it up for community use.  Returning public buildings to the community reflects a well-founded interest to preserve inherent value.
