Construction administration is underway for Central Marin County’s latest solar-powered private residence. Designed and construction managed by DHArchitects Inc., with its LEED AP Director, the residence boasts an exposed steel structure, high performance glazing, sustainable materials, energy-efficient equipment, and entirely naturally-ventilated spaces within a setting of indigenous landscaping.
As the majority of fabrication takes place off-site, construction observation and overview of fabrication and installation detailing as per the contract documents is essential. As an aid to the Architects and Contractor, objective review of specialized design items are provided as they pertain to specifics in the field.
